Istanbul must be one of my favourite cities in the world. It blew me away completely with the architecture, history, scenery, the people and of course the food!
Here are some photos from our very first day in Istanbul, we fit in a visit to the Blue Mosque (it is actually called Sultan Ahmet mosque) and Hagia Sofia in one afternoon!
Istanbul kom snabbt in på min lista över favoritstäder. Det är en stad som verkar ha allt, arkitektrur, historia, vackra vyer, vänliga människor och jättegod mat förstås!
Här kommer nu några foton från vår första dag i Istanbul, vi besökte den Blå Mosken (som egentligen ska kallas för Sultan Ahmet mosken) och Hagia Sofia på samma eftermiddag.

Hagia Sofia is located right opposite the Blue Mosque. The building was initially a church, then converted into a mosque and now it is a museum.
Hagia Sofia ligger mittemont den Blå Mosken. Ursprungligen byggdes den som en kyrka, senare ändrades den till en moske och nu är byggnaden ett museum.
