Diskar, dricker en kopp kaffe och lägger barnet och sova - samtidigt. Nåjo, om man frånser den lilla ettåringen som springer runt köksbordet...
First there were two aquarians, then a little gemini came along. This is our everyday.

Late night multitasking
Doing the dishes, having a coffee and putting the child to bed. Yup, one of these things is not getting done properly...

Ramadan Kareem
Ramadan Kareem to everyone!
I really wanted to get my house into the Ramadan spirit this year. Unfortunately the shops have a very limited range of Ramadan decorations. So I decided to get my craft on. A piece of fabric, a frame and my sorry excuse of calligraphy turned into this.
Our daughter also wanted to put her mark on the decor and stared throwing Mega Bloks and Legos down the stars. Adds a splash of colour, but maybe not quite what I had in mind.

Surprise three day weekend
Saudi Arabia has finally come to its senses and decided that weekends will be on Friday and Saturday, rather than Thursday and Friday. It was something that had been speculated about for long, but such changes can take long to put into action. Or not, the change was announced with 6 days notice and just two days before the start of the weekend it was decided that this weekend will be a three day weekend.
So swift can decision making be when not living in a democratic country!

Finland 6.12
I was hoping I would be able to blog regularly during my Finland visit. That did not happen, I managed to keep myself busy with other stuff. Here's a quick recap in pictures.

Welcome June!
Summer is well and truly here. You could also say that the roasting season is on. Yesterday it was 41,5 degrees in the shade!!! And it will get hotter...

Domo arigato gozaimasu
Our 11-day trip around Japan is soon coming to an end. We have seen a lot and covered a lot of ground, but there is still so much to see!
I have made an effort to eat as many green things as possible. And I do not mean vegetables, I am talking about things that contain green tea powder. There have been donuts, ice cream, cake and today there were waffles! Calories don't count when you're holidays, right?!?!
Today we have also celebrated our little girl's first birthday! How time flies when you are having fun, I could but imagine life without her. During our trip we have heard the word kawaii a lot, the Japanese word for cute. And Imaan has given them all her biggest smile in return!
Thank you Japan for everything, domo arigato gozaimasu!

Big (and small) in Japan
It's clean, green, efficient and things seem to work effortlessly! In other words - it's all that Saudi Arabia isn't!
